Zenity raises $125M Series C to secure AI agents

Zenity, a Tel Aviv-based cybersecurity company, raised $125 million in a Series C funding round led by Norwest Venture Partners, the company disclosed this week. The round was structured as "almost entirely primary capital" with approximately $10 million in secondary shares, according to reporting on the announcement.

The Series C brought together a consortium of enterprise and technology investors. Qumra Capital, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Hitachi Ventures, LG Technology Ventures, DTCP, Vertex Ventures, Third Point Ventures, and Intel Capital participated in the round alongside the lead investor.

Strategic Focus on Agent Security

Zenity's platform addresses a core operational challenge facing enterprises deploying autonomous AI agents: governance and threat detection. The company's tools help organizations monitor agent behavior, enforce security policies, and identify anomalous or harmful actions before they propagate across systems.

Norwest's backing signals confidence in the market timing. As Norwest stated in its announcement, the firm is "excited to share that Norwest is leading Zenity's $125 million Series C to secure AI agents everywhere." The venture firm's positioning reflects a broader thesis that agent security—analogous to perimeter security in classical IT—will become a foundational enterprise requirement as autonomous systems handle sensitive tasks and customer data.

Expansion Plans

Zenity intends to deploy the capital across three strategic areas: expanding its core platform, scaling Zenity Labs (the company's research and product innovation division), and accelerating international expansion into Europe and Asia-Pacific regions. The expansion reflects growing demand for agent governance tools outside the United States, particularly as European regulators tighten requirements around AI systems and autonomous decision-making.

With approximately $185 million in total funding, Zenity ranks among the better-capitalized startups in the narrower agent security category. The company's Series C comes amid rapid enterprise adoption of agentic systems—from autonomous data analysis to workflow automation—which has intensified demand for platforms that can audit, control, and defend those systems against misuse, data exfiltration, and operational drift.
